Seafarer's Prayer
He stilled the storm to a whisper;
the waves of the sea were hushed.
He guided them to their desired haven.
Psalm 107 : 29–30

We are a group of Christians who would like to pray for those at sea, regardless of country, race or faith. We know many crews are in difficult waters right now. Let us know how we can pray for you and your crew.

A prayer for the watch

If you'd like a prayer to read quietly, on deck or in your cabin:

Lord, you who stilled the storm and walked upon the water — be with me tonight. Watch over my crew. Keep my family in your care until I see them again. When I am afraid, remind me that I am not alone. Bring us safely to harbour. Amen.

Words for difficult waters

"Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you."

Isaiah 41 : 10

"The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."

Psalm 121 : 8
